How To Clean
- Before the first use, completely disassemble the product, clean thoroughly, and place all components in boiling water for 5 minutes to ensure optimal hygiene. Always wash your hands with soap before cleaning, sterilizing, and feeding.
- After every use, wash all parts thoroughly using Pigeon Liquid Cleanser. We recommend using the SofTouch™ Straw Brush to easily clean the gravity ball straw. Ensure all visible and hidden areas are washed and rinsed completely to remove any milk or juice residue. Please refer to the Instruction Manual for additional details.
Usage Tip
For optimal safety and hygiene, we recommend rotating the use of two or more straw tops for about 2 months before replacing them. It is best to replace the silicone tops at least every 2 months, or earlier if you notice signs of wear and tear regardless of how many times they have been used. Bottles should be replaced every 4 to 6 months, or sooner if they become discoloured or cloudy.
How To Sterilize
Sterilization Method : Boiling, Steam, Chemical#, UV^
Be sure to sterilize before every use.
| Part | Material | Heat Resistance |
| Straw Top | Silicone Rubber 100% | 140°C |
| Connector | Biomass Polypropylene (PP) 20%*, Polypropylene (PP) 80% | 120°C |
| Gravity Ball Straw | Stainless Steel 77%, Silicone Rubber 23% | 110°C |
* For the bottle / cap / hood only. Mass balance approach.
# Chemical Sterilization is possible for all parts except the Gravity Ball Straw.
^ It is recommended to replace the product when it starts to discolour and / or turn cloudy.
Precaution
- Never sterilize or heat the Gravity Ball Straw in a microwave oven.
- Exercise caution after boiling sterilization as the parts and bottles will be very hot.
- Thoroughly remove all grease or oil residue before sterilizing to prevent permanent staining on the parts.
- Avoid filling the cup with hot or carbonated liquids. Doing so increases air pressure inside the cup and may cause leakages from the straw tip or result in unexpected burns.
- Ensure the lid is opened and closed firmly to prevent improper handling and potential leaks.
