SHAH ALAM, Selangor – March 19, 2024 – Employees from Pigeon Malaysia soared into action for a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at Zoo Negara on 1st March 2024.

Marking a commitment to wildlife conservation, a team of 39 dedicated Pigeon Malaysia volunteers joined forces with zookeepers to ensure the animals received top-notch care. From meticulous enclosure cleaning and enriching activities to food preparation that met specific dietary needs, the volunteers played a vital role in supporting animal well-being.

“At first, we were worried about what we would be doing at the zoo, but we were able to feed the animals, clean up, and have fun working with all the staff.” Koizumi Gouichi, Managing Director at Pigeon Malaysia, explained. “As Pigeon, we would like to continue to carry out CSR activities that will help us tackle global warming and environmental issues.”

The Pigeon Malaysia team set out for Zoo Negara with a clear mission: to spruce up the Savannah Walk and Children’s World. Working efficiently in smaller groups, they ensured every corner was cleaned, making a significant contribution to the park’s overall hygiene.

We would like to be one of the Corporate Supporters of Zoo Negara Malaysia and contribute our little effort in wildlife conservation. We also wish to allow our staff to experience something different and have fun. It would be a memorable CSR event for all our staff.” Debbie Lam, Human Resource Manager at Pigeon Malaysia highlighted.
